Chemistry/Science Fact: Menthol stimulates the transient receptor potential channel melastatin 8 (TRPM8). This receptor is responsible for the well-known cooling sensation it provokes when inhaled, ingested (do not ingest this muscle balm product), or applied to the skin.

Key Ingredients:

Arnica Infused Oil - also known as Mexican Arnica, this herb has been used medicinally on this continent for centuries to provide a soothing experience.

Menthol (6%) - menthol crystals are a constituent of wild mint, harvested in India through the process of distillation. Menthol provides a cooling sensation in the body when inhaled, swallowed, or applied to skin. 

Wintergreen Essential Oil - used in massage blends for the soothing properties of methyl salicylate, a main chemical component. Reputed to increase circulation, calm inflammation, temporarily ease pain and soothe soreness.* 

Peppermint Essential Oil - naturally occurring menthol for temporary pain relief and muscle relaxant. Cooling sensation on sore, achy muscles.* 

Eucalyptus Essential Oil - used for relaxation and deep breathing. Eucalyptus is also reputed for soothing tension and easing muscle soreness.* 

Tansy Blue Essential Oil - known for natural blue color from chamazulene. Preclinical studies suggest camphor, a chemical component of Blue Tansy, may soothe skin when applied topically.* 

German Blue Chamomile Essential Oil - natural blue color from chamazulene as well. May help soothe muscle soreness and promote relaxation.* 

Helichrysum Essential Oil - preclinical studies suggest that helichrysum has anti-inflammatory properties and may provide relief to muscle and joint inflammation.*

How to Use:
Apply thin coat (at first) to sore muscles or joints. Cooling sensation can be delayed. Apply more after 5 minutes if desired. Always wash hands thoroughly after use if product gets on hands. 

Store in a cool, dry place and keep away from direct sunlight.

Cautions:
